I have always adored the science and wonders of outer space. The sense of smallness I get when I look at images of the Earth midst empty space does not frighten me, but only leaves me at the awe of exploring what more could be out there.
When it was assigned that I would be blogging for my History 1302 class project, I knew that I would choose a topic related best to me. I thought of space instantly at the words that I could choose my own topic, yet, I like to think about what else I may learn about. I like art, theater, and photography, but in the end I knew that other students were likely to choose their topic based on their hobbies and life interests; I knew that I should stick with space. So, The Advocation of Space in Corpus Christi became my topic. Of course I will look at many aspects of history of Corpus Christi, but I am zoning in on Space!
